'Unplasticized Polyvinylchloride' (uPVC) is used extensively throughout the world in the building industry to manufacture such items as water pipes, drain pipes, gutters and electrical conduits to name but a few, and is also used to extrude window and door frames. Its rigid and durable qualities make uPVC an ideal material for this application.
UV Resistant: Finestra uPVC profiles are made from high impact, ultra violet and weather resistant compounding materials, with a German-Technology formulation designed specifically for tropically harsh conditions.
Advanced Construction: Our Windows & Doors have fusion welded joints which allow the multi chambered profiles to be joined perfectly, unlike timber and aluminium.
Saltwater Resistant: The salt air of coastal regions can be very destructive. Our specially formulated uPVC's are resistant to ALL atmospheric conditions.
Maintainence Free: Apart from the occasional wipe down, our windows and doors are colourfast and white throughout.
Weatherproof: Our windows and doors have 2 or 3 weather seals, depending on design; these seals protect each opening and the windows and doors remain completely draught-proof and waterproof, even under the most severe weather conditions.
Multiple-Locking Systems: To ensure the highest standard of securit, the multiple number of locking points are based on the size of the window. The larger the window, the more locking points. In addition, when used in conjunction with security films on special glass, this would make it virtually impossible for intruders to gain entry.
